A recent automobile crash in Flagler county killed four adults, one teen, and left four children injured according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Reports indicate that a tire blew out on a Ford Expedition and caused the vehicle to crash into several trees and oveturn just off of southbound Interstate 95.
The victims were on their way to Lake County and returning home from a family reunion in North Carolina. Only two of the nine passengers were wearing seatbelts.
When riding in an automobile, remember to always wear your safety belt. Also, make sure you check the pressure in your tires frequently. Many times blowouts cannot be prevented, but in some cases the blowout could have been prevented had the tire pressure been checked and filled.
