A 4 year old girl died recently when she drowned in a swimming pool outside of her family’s new home.
At the time she drowned, her father was busy working on a fence for the home. The father thought that his daughter went inside the home to join her mother in the kitchen. A few minutes passed, then the father found his daughter at the bottom of the pool. Paramedics rushed the child to Broward General Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Whether it is minutes or hours of inattention by a parent or caregiver, a swimming pool is an extremely dangerous hazard that should be enclosed and protected at all times. 4 Year Old Drowns in Family Pool.
