A fatal collision between a sports utility vehicle and a school bus occurred in Holiday, Florida during the school bus’s morning commute around 8:30 a.m. The woman driving the SUV crashed head-on into the school bus, which was transporting about 38 students to Paul R. Smith Middle School. The woman died due to the personal injuries she sustained from the collision. The bus driver was reported to be in serious condition and 17 students were transported to hospitals. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
