Signs in Gainesville, Florida Encouraging Drivers to Yield to Pedestrians

In Gainesville, Florida – home to the University of Florida, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Gainesville Police Department, the UF Police Department are working to remind drivers to yield to pedestrians. With the presence of the University as well as a number of schools in the area, pedestrians are every where in Gainesville. Drivers should be on the lookout for pedestrians which include college students as well as much younger children.
