Alachua County Florida School Bus Accident – Dangers of Speed and Wet Roads to Children

In Gainesville, Florida, an Alachua County school bus was recently involved in an automobile / bus accident. The school bus reportedly hydroplaned and then hit a tree. There were 41 children on the school bus at the time of the accident. A few children suffered minor personal injuries. It appears that a combination of the speed of the bus with the wet roads led to the crash. Fortunately, there were no serious personal injuries or wrongful deaths that resulted from this bus accident.
