Three Children Dead in Rear End Crash in Miami, Florida – Investigation, Rights and Responsibilities

A tragic automobile accident took place in Miami, Florida. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a father was driving a mini van that was rear ended by a SUV. The father, Hector S. Serrano, was stopped at a red light when he and his children were rear ended by a SUV driven by Gabriel Delrisco. The children, Hector Serrano (age 10), Esemeralda Serrano (age 7) and Amber Serrano (age 4) were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials with Florida Highway Patrol and Metro Dade Police will further investigate this case to determine if alcohol or drugs played a part in the accident. It is most unfortunate that innocent children had to die as a result of what appears to be careless driving in this rear end accident.
