Back over accidents frequently involve a toddler or small child who is not seen easily by a driver backing his or her car out of a driveway. Toddlers and small children lack good judgment and will, at times, walk behind a moving vehicle and into a zone of danger that causes serious personal injuries and death. In Jacksonville, FLorida, a toddler ran away, for a moment's time, from her grandmother and into the path of a driver who was backing up a vehicle out of a parking space.
